Whenever I get an inquiry about a proposal, I get SO excited. When I talk with the guy, he is always so giddy, a little nervous and all hyped up! There are so many amazing places to propose in Sedona, Arizona. A personal favorite is DA Ranch Winery! This winery has a stunning view overlooking water and not to mention an amazing wine selection that is perfect for celebrating!!
A few ideas to make your proposal one she will never forget, and they are all centered around intentionality.
Choose a place that means a lot to you! For example: My husband proposed to me at the Grand Canyon because we had our first kiss there (awwwww I know he’s the best). I also love this because then your proposal place will always hold fond memories for the both of you. I photograph a lot of proposals in Sedona, Arizona. Sedona is the perfect place in my opinion. She will never forget the proposal AND the views.
Hire the Sedona photographer (preferably someone who is local to the place you are proposing). In this case, hire a local professional Sedona photographer (I’d be honored). Trust me, you will want to look back at these memories one day. Her face might never be that surprised again!
Invite her parents to come celebrate after you propose. She will not believe this one! There are already so many emotions when you get proposed to. On top of that, you get to hug you mom and dad too?! Magical.
Reserve a table for beautiful dinner celebration. If you are proposing in Sedona, I recommend getting a table at Mariposa or Elote! They do book out pretty far in advance. She will feel so taken care of and eating after a long, exciting day is absolutely necessary.
