Why is an Engagement Session a Non-Negotiable?

As a wedding photographer who has photographed weddings all over the beautiful state of Arizona, I have noticed something. It’s pretty intimidating to be in front of a huge camera lens. It’s also pretty intimidating to meet your wedding photographer the day of your wedding when emotions and feelings are already very high.

I want my wedding couples to feel COMFORTABLE in front of me and my camera. Why is this important to me? Because it shows in the photos. I want you to feel like we’re all just friends and I am third wheeling on your cutie date. I would say my couples would agree with this. But we only get to this point if we spend time together! For this reason, I include engagment sessions in all my wedding collections. I want to get to know you, your relationship, witness your love AND I want you to feel comfy in front of the camera when it’s time for your big day.
